Ken Curtis, who played "Festus" on Gunsmoke for more than 10 years, died in Clovis on April 28th 1991, and got his statue unveiled there in February 1992, as you surely already know. But I didn't! I used to be a keen watcher of Gunsmoke, and it was great fun to learn about this!
